Do yourself a favor and plan a trip here, even to just take in the scenery on arrival! This nursery is diverse and yet, calming. Picked up a starlight bay for my client. Their online inventory was correct. Friendly knowledgeable staff.

I was so saddened when Joy Creek nursery closed. But we still have Cistus! Believe me it's worth the trip to Sauvie's Island. Whereas Joy Creek was the nursery for rare specimens, Cistus fills the void nicely. I especially like the fetish area. I'm not going to define it for you so you'll have to pay a visit yourself to see what it's all about.😉 For retail nursery the property layout is really spectacular. All the personal touches throughout I really appreciate. Find selection of succulent, cacti, native, evergreen, Simi tropical and ornamental. Very knowledgeable staff. Left with a few new additions to the garden. Will definitely be back!

Really great exotic plant nursery. They also carry nice selection of yucca, ferns, indoor palms, as well as succulents, cyclamen, and plants that do well in a maritime climate. Super friendly staff, excellent social distancing measures. About a 30-minute drive from North Portland.
